Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan.png     Borrow from another library

Hawkins Memorial Library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation.

If you are looking for a book that we do not have, please ask the librarian on duty to see if we can borrow it from another library.  We cannot keep and house all books and periodicals, but we can borrow most books from other libraries around the state.

Interlibrary loaned items can be kept for at least two weeks, just like a resource from our own library.  This will allow time for shipping back to the library we borrowed it from. Please be aware that it will take several days to a week, or more, to receive an item.

There is currently no charge for this service. It is another wonderful service our library offers the community.
