The Mississippi River Museum – Ocean Odyssey Mobile Shark Touch Tank will be at the library during Festival of Trails on Saturday, June 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. This traveling touch tank brings live sharks to you! A 1:30 PM program will highlight the unique adaptations to survive, explore the roles sharks play in the ecosystem, learn how our actions impact sharks that live thousands of miles away, and discover how we can help protect them. Afterward, participants may get their hands wet and touch these animals until 3:30 PM. We’ll have snacks, water, and sidewalk chalk beginning at 1 PM in front of the library.
