Hawkins Memorial Library is partnering with the LPC Elementary School for two weeks in October for a food drive that directly benefits families in our community. From October 10 - 20, you can help by donating items to stock the LPC Community Food Pantry. We want to assist in fulfilling the pantry’s current needs and prepare for the holidays.  In addition to nonperishable foods, they also accept personal items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dish soap, laundry detergent, personal hygiene products, paper towels, toilet paper, baby food, diapers, and wipes. Everyone is encouraged to drop off donations at the library. This service project teaches LPC Elementary children the act of being a Pillar of Citizenship and doing our share to make our community a better place.
