ProctoringIf you are taking a class from a remote institution you may need to take a proctored exam. Hawkins Memorial Library offers a proctoring service to the public.



  • Preapproval must be received for proctoring tests by the learning institution.


  • Instructor contact will determine the parameters of the test. All requirements and regulations will be followed.


  • Tests must be scheduled in advance. Contact the library director by phone or email to make an appointment.


  • Pubic computers are available in the library for test taking, or you may bring a personal laptop if allowed by the instructor.


  • Proctoring services includes both written and online tests.


  • Test takers are responsible for any associated fees, which may include copies, faxing, or scanning.


  • Proctoring is a free service provided by the library.
