Book Club     Book  Club

Do you enjoy reading a wide variety of books and discussing them with others? Our Book Club is the fourth Monday each month at 1 PM. Stop in the library to pick of a copy of the current book selection.



Hawkins Handcrafters    Hawkins Handcrafters

This group meets twice monthly from 1:00 to 3:00 PM the second and fourth Thursdays each month. Bring any handwork or hobby you are working on and join other crafty people to chat and be creative.

Author Visits

In order to support local writers we periodically schedule area authors at the library for book talks and signings. You are encouraged to keep a watch for these learning opportunities and attend their programs. The support of the community means the world to them.

Technical Assistance Classes

As the need arises, Hawkins Memorial Library offers technical assistance classes to the public. Classes have included: beginning computer, Kindle and I-pad programs. If you are in need of assistance in these areas check our events calendar for upcoming classes, or stop in the library for assistance. And we are glad to familiarize you with BRIDGES, LearningExpress and other library service programs.
